As a key supplier to the project JW Morris attended the official opening by Mr Kirby Adams, Chief Executive Office of Tata Steel Europe and Mr Carwyn Jones AM , First Minister of Wales of the £60 Million investment by Corus Strip Products at Port Talbot on 12th May 2010

JW Morris undertook the electrical and instrumentation services on this project which will significantly improve energy efficiency and environmental performance at the BOS plant by recovering and reusing the energy rich gases from the steelmaking process to generate electricity and reduce natural gas consumption.

Our associate company, McLellan provided health and safety, planning and project management services to Corus on this project.
